Hardin County Conservation Board Meetings
Hardin County Conservation Board meets every month on the second Wednesday unless posted in the Hardin County Newspapers. These meetings are open to the public and public comments. During spring, summer, and fall months the board meets at 7:00 pm. During the winter months the board meets at 5:00 pm. Most meetings are held at the Headquarters Segment which is located between Iowa Falls and Ackley. If you would like more information about an upcoming board meeting contact 641.648.4361.
Wild Women of the Woods
Friday and Saturday, July 16th and 17th at Pine Lake State Park
We have begun to plan our 2010 event and we just wanted to fill you in on some of the topics that will be presented on July 17th at Pine Lake State Park. New sessions this year will include: Self Defense, Aromatherapy, Backpacking, Gardening with Native Plants, and many more. Some of last years speakers will be back again this year including: Kayaking and Belly Dancing. A link to a registration form and schedule of events can be found below. If you know of any other ladies who might be interested please pass on the information. If you are needing assistance in paying for your registration you can also find a link for scholarship opportunities. Hunter Safety Course
Saturday, August 28th, 2010
To obtain a hunting license a Hunter Safety Certificate is required for anyone born after January 1, 1967. Participants must be 12 years old.
Pre-registration is required.
