The Records Division within the Hardin County Sheriff’s Office processes all requests for copies of reports.
Making Requests for Reports
Requests for a report can be made in person at the Law Enforcement Center or by mail.

With your report request, please include:
- Your contact information
- Phone number
- A check or money order, payable to the Hardin County Sheriff
Fees
- Most reports are available to the public at a cost of $5 per report.
- For reports larger than 20 pages, an additional $0.25 per copy will be charged.
- If you need a copy of a picture disc, an extra charge of $15 per disc plus postage will be added to the fee.

If the request requires additional fees, you will be contacted by the Sheriff's Office prior to mailing the requested report.
