With spring here in full force, many species of wildflowers are starting to bloom. Join Calkins Nature Area staff members at Lower Eagle City Park (27799 160th St. Iowa Falls, IA, 50126) for the annual Wildflower Walk on Saturday, May 12th. The walk will start at 9 am and end at 12 pm. Hardin County Conservation and former Ellsworth conservation technology instructor, Nancy Slife, will be hosting the event.

For those that do not know how to get to the park, Calkins Nature Area staff members will be meeting in the parking lot of the Ellsworth Equestrian Center at 8:15 am on the 28th to guide everyone to the woodland area. We will be leaving at 8:30 from the equestrian center.
